{"id":1414,"date":"2015-01-18T05:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-18T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2015-01-18T05:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-01-18T05:00:00","slug":"obra-atribuida-a-caravaggio-pierde-demanda-con-sotheby-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sertv.gob.pa\/crisolfm\/obra-atribuida-a-caravaggio-pierde-demanda-con-sotheby-s\/","title":{"rendered":"Obra atribuida a Caravaggio pierde demanda con Sotheby&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nUn brit\u00e1nico que vendi\u00f3 en US$63.000 un cuadro que luego fue identificado como obra del maestro italiano Caravaggio perdi\u00f3 la demanda que entabl\u00f3 por \u00abnegligencia\u00bb contra la casa de subasta Sotheby&#8217;s. <\/p>\n<p>El juez manifest\u00f3 que Sotheby no incurri\u00f3 en negligencia al evaluar la pintura. <\/p>\n<p>El due\u00f1o posterior del cuadro la asegur\u00f3 por m\u00e1s de US$20 millones luego de enterarse de que era un original del maestro barroco. <\/p>\n<p>La familia del demandante Lancelot William Thwaytes compr\u00f3 la pintura en 1962 por poco m\u00e1s de US$200. <\/p>\n<p>Los expertos de Sotheby hab\u00edan indicado que se trataba de una copia del Siglo XVII.
