El temblor se produjo a 208 kil\u00f3metros de profundidad al sur de la isla de Ambon, a las 11H53 locales (02H53 GMT), seg\u00fan la misma fuente.<\/p>\n<p>El Centro de Alertas de Tsunamis para el Pac\u00edfico dijo que no hab\u00eda riesgo de tsunami, al tratarse de un sismo muy profundo. Poco antes, un sismo de 6.1 hab\u00eda sacudido Pap\u00faa, tambi\u00e9n en el extremo este del archipi\u00e9lago indonesio. El temblor, a 21 km de profundidad, tuvo su epicentro a 240 km al oeste de la ciudad de Abepura, seg\u00fan el USGS.
