Del n\u00famero 40, este par fue prestado por el general Bertrand (1773-1844), compa\u00f1ero del emperador en la isla inglesa, al escultor Carlo Marochetti (1805-1867), mientras este trabajaba en una escultura ecuestre de Bonaparte.<\/p>\n<p>El hijo del escultor, el bar\u00f3n Marochetti, don\u00f3 las botas al senador Paul Le Roux. Conservadas en la familia desde entonces, est\u00e1n estimadas entre 50 mil y 80 mil euros.<\/p>\n<p>En vida, Napole\u00f3n encarg\u00f3 numerosos pares de botas a un zapatero parisino.
