Mildreth Castillo, epidemi\u00f3loga de la Policl\u00ednica \u201cPablo Espinosa Batista\u201d, de la Caja de Seguro Social en Bugaba, actualiz\u00f3 al personal m\u00e9dico acerca del dengue, debido al aumento de estos casos a nivel nacional.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La especialista, hizo referencia a la clasificaci\u00f3n del dengue en: dengue sin signos de alarma (DSSA), dengue con signos de alarma (DCSA) y dengue Grave (DG). En todos los casos, requieren un monitoreo estricto e intervenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica inmediata.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Otros puntos relevantes tratados fueron el algoritmo para atenci\u00f3n de casos sospechosos de dengue y el algoritmo para el manejo de l\u00edquidos intravenosos en pacientes con choque hipovol\u00e9mico por dengue grave, resalt\u00f3 la Dra. Castillo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Los s\u00edntomas comienzan a los 2 o 7 d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de la picadura de un mosquito infectado, presentando signos de alerta como: fiebre, dolor abdominal intenso y continuo, dolor en el pecho, exantema o erupci\u00f3n cut\u00e1nea, cefalea, dolor muscular o articular, tos, v\u00f3mitos, sangrado de enc\u00edas y nariz, orina o heces con sangre, sangrado vaginal anormal y alteraci\u00f3n del estado de conciencia.
