Esta iniciativa, desencadenada por el reporte de un caso de leptospirosis en la zona, implement\u00f3 estrategias de informaci\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n y comunicaci\u00f3n (IEC) a nivel comunitario.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Esta estrategia, incluy\u00f3 entrevistas a domicilio con entrega de medidas preventivas escritas, fomentando el autocuidado de la salud, adem\u00e1s se orient\u00f3 a manipuladores de alimentos en puntos de ventas apoyados con mensajes escritos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>El trabajo se complement\u00f3 con la difusi\u00f3n de mensajes v\u00eda perifoneo, simult\u00e1neamente se incluy\u00f3 el tema de buenas pr\u00e1cticas para la eliminaci\u00f3n de criaderos del mosquito Aedes Aegypti.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Anteriormente, los departamentos de Control de vectores, Direcci\u00f3n nacional de control de alimentos y vigilancia veterinaria y Saneamiento ambiental del Ministerio de Salud en Col\u00f3n, han desarrollado
